Safety

Safety is synonymous with Global Vectra Helicorp Limited.
The Safety Department at GVHL manages our Safety Management System (SMS), oversees our Flight Safety and Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) programs and manages all Regulatory Compliance activities related to Safety. The Team also manage our PRISM (Proactive, Reactive, Integrated Safety Management) system, which underpins, amongst other things, our Safety and Quality Auditing, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Management of Change activities.

All GVHL staff undergo Safety Awareness training and depending on the different roles people have, they may be provided with numerous additional training courses, including:

• SMS Implementation
• Internal Auditing
• Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA)
• Human Factors in Aviation
• Handling of Dangerous Goods and
• ISO Standards Training (ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 covering Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety Management)..
